Our Classes
A proficient motorcyclist never stops learning. Our classes are designed to give you experience that will make you a safer rider, no matter what obstacles come your way.
Every Gateway Adventure School Level 1 or 2 session includes seven meals starting with Friday’s welcome dinner, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and three nights of lodging in our on-site bunkhouse near Potosi, Missouri.
Classes are kept small to allow us to give you the proper level of instruction, as well as allowing us to maintain proper social distancing.

CLASSES FORMING NOW!
Adventure Level 1 - $995
Whether you plan to ride to Ushuaia, Bunker or just that gravel road on the way home, take this class to gain the confidence you need to make your next adventure a sure thing.
Level 1 will teach you to accelerate, turn, and stop on rough surfaces, how to set up your bike for adventure travel, and how to manage your traction for maximum fun!
All meals and beverages are included , as well as sheets , pillows , and sleeping bag . Cabins are included with heat and air conditioning, and there are bunkhouse showers . Rooms accommodate two to four people , and you can request to share a room with a buddy .
Adventure Level 2 - $995
Level 2 is the same course, just turned up to 11. Whereas Level 1 teaches how to clear a downed branch, Level 2 uses that branch as a kicker.
Level 1 covers water crossings; Level 2 covers bike-swallowing mudholes. Level 1 teaches you to maximize traction; Level 2 teaches you to manage your level of traction, including sliding the bike when appropriate!

Adventure Tutoring
Individual sessions are available to work on specific areas you want to develop, or to meet challenges you have experienced on the trail with more confidence. These sessions range from a half-day up to a full weekend.

Applied Adventure -$TBD
After you have attended a Level 1 or 2 school, you’ll want to take advantage of our Applied Adventure class. You’ve done the training with an empty bike on our training range, now let’s try it fully loaded out on the trail. Let our experts show you not only how to ride with your packed gear, but also how to pack, how to set up camp, and how to Leave No Trace when you continue on your way.
