Where is G.A.S. ?

Our riding school is a short ride from Potosi, Missouri, about 90 miles away from St. Louis, Missouri. When you enroll, we’ll send exact coordinates.

What do I need to bring ?

Pack your riding gear (helmet, boots, gloves, etc.). There’s no need to bring camping equipment as we supply pillows, sheets and sleeping bags.

Are there requirements to attend ?

All bikes are welcome; we recommend off-road bikes. Basic riding skills are advised, and riders must be licensed motorcycle operators on an insured motorcycle.

What if I need to cancel ?

We require 100% of fee is due at time of booking . Unfortunately, there are no refunds for cancellation.  

What if it rains ?

Gateway Adventure School sessions take place in any weather condition . So come prepared , its all part of the adventure .

Can I call to book a spot ?

No , payment must be made at time of booking , and bookings are only available online .

What if my bike breaks down ?

Tools and tire plug kits will be available on-site with some technical support .

What will I learn ?

At GAS , our goal is to get you ready to ride on your own on challenging roads . You’ll learn how to power through turns , skid , and safely pick up your bike when you drop it . You’ll receive instruction on riding in sand and gravel , and learn how to properly use the gas, clutch , and brakes to navigate obstacles .

What is provided ?

All meals and beverages are included , as well as sheets , pillows , and sleeping bag . Cabins are heated and air conditioned , and there are bunkhouse showers . Rooms accommodate two to four people , and you can request to share a room with a buddy . First Aid equipment is available on-site . Seven meals are provided (dinner Friday , and 3 meals on Saturday/Sunday) .
